Hello! So I’ve been losing sleep for a few weeks because I really want to get this done.
I use a Drawing tablet (a Huion Kamvas 13, but I also have an intuos pro for compatibility testing purposes) and want to be able to connect it to my home computer using Parsec and work remotely. I have a dream.
I’ve been able to successfully run parsec on Android using a drawing tablet as a screen, but I would like to have the tablet driver work on Linux as it allows features such as pen hovering and pen buttons.
I’m currently running Bionic and the pen works as a mouse, but there’s no pressure or pen buttons. I tried installing the huion linux driver and the open tablet driver, as well as the digimend huion driver, but it doesn’t recognize the tablet. It just says it’s not detected, so I can’t remap anything. The tablet buttons next to the screen work, only the pen buttons, pressure, and hover don’t. There’s also the issue of running parsec on an arm device, but I’ll get there as soon as I get there lol (worst case scenario, I’ll end up running it from Chrome). So I’m looking for community support to get this working. I think this would be a real asset to artists, so I’m going to put on my 7 pen hat and give this a go!
