Databricks has launched a public preview of the Databricks Apps tool, designed to help you quickly and securely build data and AI applications on the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform. Developers can use code instead of SQL to create data applications for non-technical users. This allows specific business units to create apps tailored to their unique needs. For example, marketing teams can use this tool to create customized dashboards that visualize campaign performance metrics.
The apps you build are deployed directly on the Databricks platform and fully managed, eliminating the need to configure and manage infrastructure. This ensures that data leaves your Databricks environment only when users choose to share it.
Databricks ANZ Country Manager Adam Beavis said the solution will help organizations maximize the potential of their data and AI investments.
