Taco Bell is treating longtime customers to a (Baja) blast from the past.
The chain has introduced a limited-time Decades menu that brings back familiar menu items from the past 60 years. A total of five popular items each return from that signature decade and are priced at $3 or less.
“Decades Menu connects generations of fans who fondly remember these menu items with those who have experienced the joy of a flavorful tostada, tasted our legendary green sauce burrito, or tried a Meximelt for the first time. This will help us connect with a new generation of fans who aren’t yet there,” the company said in a news release.
Among the nostalgic items are caramel apple empanadas, which first appeared in the early 2000s and were discontinued in 2019. The crunchy dessert filled with apple pieces and a caramel-creamy filling returns on November 21st.
However, the other four products, including Tostada, one of the chain’s original products, will be available nationwide starting October 31st.
