“So, for those of you who got an iPad for $69 or $79 instead of $199, you’re in luck.”
“And if you guys think I’m lying, let me show you something…I work at Target,” Q shared while flashing his Target ID on camera.

“This jaw is here. [is] $199. Only if you have a Target Circle account. Otherwise, it’s $330,” he added, holding up his iPad.
“Congratulations to those who got lucky earlier in the day. But they’re cracking down now, FYI,” Q finally warns as the video ends.

Target Circle Week, which runs through October 12, offers Target Circle users great deals on products in every category, from beauty to technology. This week we’re also featuring “Deal of the Day,” which offers special deals that last 24 hours. One of this week’s deals was $130 off the price of the Apple iPad 9th generation, reducing the price from $329.99 to $199.99.
At the same time, Amazon, which has a Prime Day sale on October 8th and 9th, also offered a sale on the 9th generation iPad for $199.99. According to one TikTok user, what Target Circle customers were doing was matching Amazon’s $199 price and then taking advantage of the $130 off Target Circle deal to get an iPad for $69. did.
Why can’t I stack discounts?
Target’s price match policy allows customers to match Target’s Eligible Items that they found for a lower price on Target.com, Amazon, Walmart or Target Circle™ deals (deals that are automatically applied when you verify your identity). It says it matches the price. members of the target circle). However, Target Circle deals cannot be combined with competitor prices. It also excludes prices that “only appear on a competitor’s website after the guest logs in,” such as Amazon Prime deals.
Although the $69 “deal” on the 9th generation iPad is no longer honored, Target Circle customers are still free to take advantage of the $130 deal and purchase the product for $199, as well as other available products. Many Target Circle Week deals are also available until October 12th. But that’s how some people who missed out on an early chance to get an iPad for a quarter of the price feel that way.
“Damn, I watched this too late,” one such user commented under Q’s video.
