Beyond the iPhone: Apple’s foray into cheaper, more intelligent devices

Apple has been getting adventurous lately and venturing into new territory. we, Apple Vision Pro was announced earlier this year, and there’s now talk that the company is working on smart home devices. And Bloomberg insider Mark Garman thinks the new device will look a bit like beloved older Apple products. Apple is reportedly working on different interpretations of smart home devices. One of them is a relatively inexpensive smart home screen. This new device will likely run on homeOS. A new operating system that Apple is developing for its upcoming devices.

Another more expensive option is obviously The company is focusing on the robotics industry, and iPad robots. Garman said Apple’s ultimate goal is to create a humanoid robot for the home. I hope these ambitions don’t go in the same direction as the Apple Car.

What caught my attention was that Gurman mentioned a cheaper option reminiscent of the iMac G3. It’s from a time when Apple had really good design. Colorful and rounded, early Apple devices represented optimism for the future in the ’90s, before they were all replaced by drab glass and steel plates. But this smart home screen isn’t like that. If Apple suddenly went back to its retro-futuristic aesthetic, we’d be pretty confused. However, the device is positioned like the old G3, with the screen tilted upwards on a small base. It’s a stationary object waiting for your next command, but this time it’s smart enough to control every other device in your house as well.

The biggest selling point is that this is said to be an inexpensive product, and Apple wants everyone to have one in their home. In addition to what has been reported, Low-end iPad models also appear at the same time Improved next year, the latest iPhone SE offers users a wide range of choices on a budget.

But is it worth it? This seems like something you’ll only really benefit from if you dive headfirst into Apple’s walled garden. It includes apps like FaceTime, Notes, Calendar, and more, but there’s nothing an iPhone can’t do.

As Garman has previously stated, Apple is big enough to take risks such as: Vision Pro and Apple car, but you can’t keep pouring money into something that won’t stick. And I don’t know if iPads with robotic arms are here to stay either.
