617 of the series. Welcome to this week’s roundup of the best apps, games, and extensions released for Windows 10 and 11 in the past seven days on Microsoft Store and elsewhere.

Microsoft ended support for Windows 11 versions 22H2 Home and Pro this month. There are no more updates for this version, but updates to newer versions are available. A bypass is available for devices that do not meet the official system requirements.

New or significantly improved Windows apps

Advanced rename functionality

Advanced Renamer is a powerful renaming tool for Windows. Its main purpose is to rename multiple files at once. It supports data sources such as music file tags, but you can also define renaming rules completely manually.

color catcher

ColorCatcher is a free tool that allows you to extract color information from any point on the screen.

After selecting “Click to Select” in the interface, you can simply click anywhere on the screen to get all the color information you need about the selected pixel.

custom folder

Custom Folder is also a free app. Customize Windows folders with colors and icons. This makes it easier to distinguish important folders from the rest.
