Amazon Prime Day 2 is happening everywhere a lot Introducing carefully selected bargain drawing tablets. I’ve been covering these past big sale event days over the years, and there’s always a sale going on for drawing tablets from the best brands. This includes Wacom, XP-Pen, Xencelabs, and Huion. We spotted some competitive early sales last week, and more are popping up now that the Big Deal event is in full swing. Huion, Xencelabs, and Wacom are currently lowering prices on their core drawing tablets.

At the top of my bargain list is the excellent $200 Wacom Cintiq Pro 16. $1,599.95 $1,399.95 on Amazon. This has been close to this reduced price since July, but it could suggest that Wacom is planning to lower prices on its larger models on Prime Day itself. This is a 16-inch version of the same model that ranks highly in my Best Drawing Tablets guide.

If you prefer a pen display, the Huion Kamvas Pro 24 (4K) is a great choice. $1,299.99 $1,149. Huion is one of the best budget tablet brands on the market, and the Kamvas series is suitable for students and hobbyists. Introducing the excellent Kamvas Pro 16 (4K) £799 549 pounds.

Great deals on drawing tablets on Prime Day: How to choose

What types of tablets are best for drawing?

There are three main types of drawing tablets. Each takes a different approach to the core challenge of allowing you to create and draw digital art on your Windows PC or Mac just as you would draw on paper.

Do you have drawing tablets for children?

Yes, the market for children’s drawing tablets is growing. If that’s what you’re looking for, check out our dedicated guide to drawing tablets for kids. They are designed to be easy to use and hard to break.

Are there any drawing tablets for smartphones?

A growing number of drawing tablet brands are connecting their drawing tablets to smartphones and Android devices, allowing them to use Linux. These are often smaller than standard drawing tablets, use a USB-C to USB-C cable, and fit neatly into your bag. The best smartphone and mobile drawing tablets for me are:

Inspiroy Frego series Huion’s new small tablet runs on Android and iOS.

Yougy M808 A small 10 x 6.25 inch drawing tablet with shortcut keys.

Uzi 16 This works with iOS and Android and is the perfect pen display for beginners.

Wacom One S The new budget option offers superior build quality.

XPPen Deco series These are top-rated drawing tablets that are perfect for Android smartphones.

Are tablets suitable for drawing?

Android, Windows, and iOS devices such as Surface Pro and iPad Pro support other drawing tablets in two ways. No separate computer required. Just download an art app and start drawing with your fingertips or stylus. These can also act as graphics tablets with apps like Astropad if you want to use the Creative Cloud suite on your main computer.

As for how good it is for drawing, it depends on what you need. The iPad has great software like Procreate, and the very capable Apple Pencil Pro from Apple Pencil 2 onwards offers very good features and specs, but is very expensive. The Surface Pro series is great for sketching and doodling, but it’s also ready for more detailed art if you’re feeling up to it.

Graphics Tablets vs. Pen Displays: What’s the Difference?

If you’ve been around computers for a long time, this is probably what you instinctively think of when you mention computers. drawing tablet: A flat surface that you draw with a stylus. Your work will be displayed on a separate computer monitor. pen tablet or graphic tablet. These are still the most affordable drawing tablet category. Their main drawback is the feeling of “disconnection” between the drawing surface and the screen, but most people quickly get used to this.

pen display consists of a flat screen monitor with a pressure-sensitive surface on which you draw with a stylus. It’s more portable without the disconnected feeling that graphics tablets often have. However, the cost is higher. Additionally, there are a lot of cables between the display and the computer (see Best Computers for Graphic Design), and many display surfaces don’t offer the “bite” of a graphics tablet.
