Autel US introduces the MaxiSYS 906 MAX diagnostic and service tablet.
The new product, which begins shipping Friday, November 1, features a service menu that includes vehicle coverage, guided reset, adaptation, coding and more with direct access to more than 40 features.
This tablet features a larger screen, wireless Bluetooth-enabled vehicle communication interface, and advanced protocols for new vehicles.
“Autel provides time-poor technicians working in regular repair shops with powerful, reliable tools to diagnose, service, and repair the many vehicles of all ages and makes that enter the shop. “We created the 906 Tablet Series to be affordable,” says Mike Frink, Director of Sales and Training at Autel.
The tablet uses AutoVIN or ScanVIN to quickly and accurately identify your vehicle. The tablet then uses AutoScan 2.0 to quickly detect faults across all systems, with the option to share pre- and post-scans with customers and insurance adjusters.
Once the scan is complete, users will immediately have vehicle data and diagnostic information, including ECU information, code descriptions, freeze frames, and more.
Tablets running Android 10 provide two-way communication and testing.
It has also been approved by Stellantis, Nissan, Volkswagen and Audi as security gateway access for new vehicles.
The tablet includes a battery test and MaxiVideo application. With the purchase of the Autel MaxiBAS BT506, technicians can perform battery, starter, and charging system tests and generate detailed graphical customer reports. When you purchase the MaxiVideo MV105S or MV108S, technicians can use the tablet display to inspect hard-to-reach or hard-to-see spaces within components and vehicle systems.
