We have just finished launching iPhone16 and iPhone16 proBut that doesn’t mean Apple is done announcing 2024. We’ve been following what the Cupertino company will announce next, and all signs point to some sort of event in October with the latest Macs and more powerful iPad mini 7. Masu.

Here’s everything you can expect from the event.
Apple is expected to finally upgrade the iPad mini at its October event. It’s been three years since the 8.3-inch tablet was upgraded, and it doesn’t seem like much has changed in that much time.
📐 Same design and display. Apple is expected to keep the same thin design as the current iPad mini, with Touch ID in the power button, stereo speakers, and a USB-C port. 🏎️ More powerful chips. The iPad mini 7 is rumored to have an upgraded A-series chip, but it’s unclear which one Apple will choose. Currently, the mini is equipped with the A15 Bionic, so it is likely that the new model will be equipped with the A16 Bionic or A17 Bionic. It is also possible that the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus will feature the new A18 chip.
📹 Repositioned FaceTime camera. There are rumors that Apple will move the iPad mini’s FaceTime camera to the long edge of the tablet instead of the top, similar to the 10.9-inch iPad and the latest iPad Pro. This allows you to center your face when holding your iPad horizontally during a video call.

Pricing has not yet been announced, but rumors suggest it could be released on November 1st.
Apple plans to refresh its entire Mac product line at its October event. However, it’s not obvious on the surface. The biggest changes are all under the hood.
💻 New chips everywhere. The 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros will reportedly be upgraded with the iPad Pro’s new M4 chip, as well as the rumored M4 Pro and M4 Max.
