Ahead of the holiday season, Apple is sharing ads for the iPhone 16 highlighting new features to encourage customers to upgrade to the latest model. Today’s ad focuses on the 4K 120 frames per second Dolby Vision video recording feature exclusive to iPhone 16 Pro and ‌iPhone 16 Pro‌ Max.

The one-minute ad features several slow-motion shots, including a rainstorm, an astronaut floating in space, an arrow flying through the sky, and a car crash. The spot ends with the tagline “Hollywood in your pocket.”

The option to capture cinematic slow-motion video at 4K 120fps is one of the key new features that differentiates iPhone 16 Pro models from standard iPhone 16 models. If you record a video using the new 120fps mode, the Photos app has an option to change the frame rate afterwards, so you can choose between 60, 48, 30, or 24 fps in post-processing.
