In one complaint to Downdetector, one user described his experience trying to install an app from the App Store during an outage. User “a CountryVegan” wrote about the button App Store users press to install an app: “Yeah, 4 devices, 2 separate networks, and the GET button just spins around for a second and nothing happens.” is written.
Another Downdetector subscriber, whose username is “Kohen,” said the App Store issue also affected in-app purchases. “You also can’t buy anything within the app, like booster packs for games,” he added, adding, “It won’t let you install anything. It will load for a second and then stop. You can also browse Pay and ship in settings on your iPhone or desktop. ”
