Apple announced the new iPad mini 7 last week. It looks the same as the previous model, but this time it’s equipped with a faster A17 Pro chip. With the new iPad arriving in stores tomorrow, Apple has released the iPadOS 18.0.1 update for those purchasing the iPad mini 7.
iPadOS 18.0.1 update now available for iPad mini 7
iPadOS 18.0.1 isn’t exactly a new update. In fact, it was released for other iPad models earlier this month with important bug fixes and performance improvements. For example, this update fixes a bug that affected device performance due to memory allocation issues. We also fixed a critical bug that caused the M4 iPad Pro model to crash.
Even though Apple touts the new iPad mini 7 as supporting Apple Intelligence, the device will ship with the first build of iPadOS 18.0, which will be generally available in September. This means that Apple Intelligence tools are not included. Apple has already confirmed that iPadOS 18.1 will be released next week, so users will have to wait until then for a minor update.
The build number of iPadOS 18.0.1 made for iPad mini 7 is 22A8380. Once you get your new iPad,[設定]>[一般]>[ソフトウェア アップデート]Be sure to update to the latest software by visiting .
