apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) plans to hire 400 new employees across upcoming stores in Bangalore, Pune, Delhi-NCR and Mumbai.
what happened: Apple has posted a number of job openings on its website, aiming to fill various positions before the launch of these outlets next year, Moneycontrol reported. Job postings include both full-time and part-time positions, as well as existing locations in Mumbai and Delhi.
According to an inside source, “Apple’s part-time opportunities are for new graduates looking for work experience at a large company. These graduates can work a variety of shifts at Apple Stores.”

Apple’s BKC store in Mumbai and Select City Walk store in Delhi each employ 90 to 100 people, including part-time shift workers. The company aims to hire the same number of employees at its new stores in Bangalore, Pune, Delhi-NCR and Mumbai.
Apple recruiters have already begun sourcing talent on job sites like LinkedIn. One of Apple India’s recruiters said, “It’s amazing to see Apple expanding into this great country of Delhi, Mumbai, Pune and Bengaluru. I would like to talk to you.”
Apple’s decision to expand its retail operations in India follows the success of its BKC outlet in Mumbai and Select City Mall store in Delhi. Launched by CEO Tim Cook in April last year, the two stores generated revenue of around Rs 800 crore in the first year, with 60% of sales coming from smaller stores in Delhi. .
