Apple is expected to hold its next keynote in October, possibly at the end of the month. There are four major products scheduled to be introduced this time, and they are scheduled to be released on November 1st.
M4 MacBook Pro
We’ve already seen unboxings of this computer, but believe it or not, it’s not actually on sale yet. Apple is expected to announce a new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro lineup featuring M4, M4 Pro, and M4 Max chips later this month.
The base model is definitely the more interesting offering this time around, and is expected to feature 16GB of RAM for the first time, be space black in color, and feature an additional Thunderbolt port on the right side.
M4 Mac Mini
Later this month, Mac mini will be redesigned for the first time in more than 14 years, making it significantly smaller and adding front-facing ports for the first time. It is also expected that the next Mac mini will end support for USB-A. It will be available on the M4 and M4 Pro chips, starting with at least 16 GB of RAM.
M4 iMac
An iMac update is also planned for October, but it will be a fairly small update. It increases from the M3 chip to the M4 chip, increasing the base model’s RAM from 8 GB to 16 GB. There aren’t many other expected changes.
Given the fact that Apple has to transition all of its products to comply with European regulations, it’s very likely that we’ll see an update to the new Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse, and Magic Trackpad using USB-C. It’s expensive.
iPad mini 7
Last but not least, we should also see the first refresh of the iPad mini in over three years. We’re expecting an A18 chipset with support for Apple Intelligence and a new display that will hopefully fix the “jelly scroll”.
There may also be support for the Apple Pencil Pro and 128GB of base storage.
summary
Apple’s upcoming product announcements sound very exciting. Are you planning to buy anything? Let us know in the comments.
