Apple CEO Tim Cook checks his iPhone firstThe Wall Street Journal reported this morning in a new interview. First thing in the morning, Cook organizes his email and checks overnight sales reports and how Apple products are selling around the world. The iPhone is also the last item Cook uses every night, setting his alarm for the next morning at 5 a.m.

After a quick daily email and sales check routine, Cook works out and tracks his workouts on his Apple Watch while listening to classic rock music on his AirPods.

Cook also uses a MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, and iMac in the office every day. Cook uses an iPad Pro when he’s on the go.

Perhaps it’s no surprise to many Apple fans and investors that Cook is passionate about the company’s products and one of its biggest everyday users.

“Every day, every product,” Cook told the Journal.

In addition to working with products that have already been released to the public, Cook also helps test new products such as Apple Intelligence. Cook’s Apple Intelligence test may help explain the Apple CEO and company’s philosophy: “best, not first.”

“It’s perfectly fine not to be number one. After all, creating something truly great takes time. It takes many iterations. You have to worry about every detail. Sometimes you just have to do it.” It may take some time.”

Cook said being first to market is great, but if you have to choose between first and best, the answer is clear: “Be the best.”

“We are not new to intelligence, but we have done it in a way that we think is best for our customers.”

Consumers have likely seen commercials or heard of instances where artificial intelligence is being used to retrieve summaries of long emails. Cook uses this Apple Intelligence feature in his email inbox.

“If you save time here and there, it adds up over the course of your day, week, and month.”

Cook said using Apple Intelligence has had a huge impact on his daily habits and productivity.

“It changed my life. It really did.”
