Google finally started rolling out Android 15 to its still supported Pixel devices last week. As is often the case, the rollout was not without its problems. In fact, far from it. Today, many Pixel 6 owners are reporting a very big issue. In fact, this is the biggest thing you’ll get after the update.
The Pixel 6 unit in question simply remains unusable – made of brickin technical terms. This seems to happen randomly and unexpectedly, but there may be an explanation. Two users on Reddit reported that their Pixel 6 devices broke after enabling the Private Spaces feature. However, another user claims that the device broke down during normal use, so the situation may not be that serious.
What all the reports have in common is that the Pixel 6 is completely broken and none of the common troubleshooting methods are working. Obviously, these are just a few isolated reports, at least for now, and the problem doesn’t seem to be that widespread. However, it’s still a very annoying issue, so if you have a Pixel 6 and haven’t updated to Android 15 yet, we recommend holding off until Google comes up with some sort of solution.
