Google started rolling out Android 15 last week, but for some Pixel 6 series owners, the update is causing some serious issues.

Android 15 isn’t a huge update, but it does add some new features. This is also the last major update that Google will deliver to the first Tensor-powered smartphones in the Pixel 6 series. However, there are some major problems for some users.

As people above pointed out, android policemany users encountered serious issues that made their devices virtually non-functional. Multiple users have noticed that their devices stop working after using Private Spaces. Worryingly, these affected devices appear to be completely non-functional even after you connect them to your computer and go through common troubleshooting steps such as starting the device by pressing the power button and volume down button. It looks like Some users have noticed that their devices randomly stop working after installing updates.

Google hasn’t acknowledged the issue yet, but it’s not the first problem Pixel 6 devices have had recently.

Back in July, a bug in Pixel 6 series devices caused the devices to be completely bricked after a factory reset. Google later fixed this issue, so it stands to reason that this latest batch of issues will also be patched in future updates. In the meantime, we recommend avoiding the Android 15 update, or at least avoiding the Private Spaces feature.
