Want to upgrade your MacBook? The 2022 13.6-inch M2 MacBook Air lets you do it on a budget. Of course, this isn’t the latest and greatest MacBook on the market, but it’s still a very solid laptop. Tech reporter Alex Perry praised its plucky M2 processor, reliable battery life, slim profile, and satisfying keyboard design, giving it a Mashable Choice Award badge of honor. Not only did the M3 receive a permanent price cut back in March when it debuted, dropping its starting price from $1,099 to $999, but Amazon just dropped it by an additional $299.01 as of October 24th. A wallet-friendly all-time low price of $699.99.

We didn’t have the honor, but the staff at PCMag (also owned by Ziff Davis) tested and reviewed the Amazon Luna controller, calling it “an excellent gamepad that provides an optimal Luna game streaming experience.” I called it. The best part is the separate WiFi connection, which reduces input lag while playing. Although it’s technically an optional add-on to the Luna gaming experience, they called it a “must-have” and earned it an Editor’s Choice award. Normally priced at $69.99, you can get it for just $49.99 with $20 off starting October 24th.
Google’s first attempt at a tablet went much better than its first attempt at a smartwatch. The specs don’t blow me away, but they’re definitely acceptable. It has a Google Tensor G2 chip with 8GB of RAM under the hood, 8MP cameras on the front and back, an 11-inch 2560 x 1600 display, and up to 12 hours of battery life on a single charge. It really shines when paired with a speaker dock (sold separately), turning it into a useful smart display, or, in the words of Mashable’s Alex Perry, “a nifty little desktop TV.” Normally priced at $399, as of October 24th, you can purchase the 128GB version on sale for just $274.99.

While not as impressive as the 50% price drop on Prime Day, this 35% discount on Beats Solo 4 is still a great deal. Just released earlier this year, Beats Solo 4 improves on the previous generation with upgraded drivers, rebalanced acoustics, and improved frequency response. In other words, it packs a more dynamic sound. Battery life has also been improved, clocking in at around 50 hours (10 hours more than its predecessor). The only concern is the lack of noise canceling technology. But with a retail price of $129.99, you can pass up that.
