Amazon’s shopping event “Prime Big Deal Days” (also known as Prime Day in October) has ended. However, the deal is still ongoing. That’s not surprising. Amazon is famous for hosting extravagant month-long shopping events (unofficially, of course). If you missed the actual two-day Prime Celebration, we’ve rounded up some great deals you can still buy below.
Here are our top picks for Amazon’s deals for the day, October 11th.
our top picks
The Beats Solo 4 has been heavily discounted since its launch earlier this year, but none as big as the 50% price drop on Prime Day. The discount continues after the shopping event, so you can still purchase a pair on Amazon for an all-time low of $99.99. The Solo 4 improves on the previous generation with upgraded drivers, rebalanced acoustics, and improved frequency response, essentially translating into a more dynamic sound. It also has improved battery life, lasting around 50 hours (10 hours more than its predecessor). The only downside is the lack of noise canceling technology. Still, it’s less than $100, so you might as well pass it up.
Another post-Prime Day sale is $50 off Shark SpeedStyle. The Shark hair dryer has four heat and three airflow settings, includes several attachments for customization, is feather-light, and adjusts temperature 1,000 times per second. It’s already gaining notoriety as a potential duck to the prohibitively expensive Dyson Supersonic dryer. This model is designed for straight and wavy hair and includes a QuickSmooth Brush, Rapid Gloss Finisher, and Turbo Concentrator attachments. Save 25% on sale for $149.99.
The latest version of our favorite portable Bluetooth speaker, the JBL Clip 5, is now on sale for just $59.95 instead of $79.95. This is a post-Prime Day 25% discount (the biggest ever), but note that it only applies to the purple model. The very literal definition of portable, the Clip 5 can be “clipped” to any bag, belt loop, or keyring using a redesigned built-in carabiner with a wider opening. Don’t ignore it just because it’s large. It boasts up to 12 hours of battery life, a “Playtime Boost” mode for an additional 3 hours of listening, an IP67 water and dust rating, and impressively loud and clear sound.

If your TV’s sound system can’t live up to the picture, add a soundbar. The Sonos Ray is our favorite starter soundbar, and it’s on sale at its lowest price ever on Amazon since Prime Big Deal Days. According to Mashable reviewer Han Schneider, the slim, budget-friendly Ray “achieves the ultimate requirement of any speaker: truly high-quality sound.” It may not have a lot of extra features (no Bluetooth connectivity, no HDMI connectivity, no smart home compatibility), but its ultra-low price certainly makes up for it. Normally $279, as of October 11th it’s only $169.

Easy-to-tweet sale
Whether you’re looking for a tablet for your teenager or just a tablet to take with you on your travels, the Fire 7 tablet is definitely an option as it retails for less than $50. That’s 38% off and the lowest price ever for the 32GB version. This is one of the few Amazon device deals that are still going on after Prime Day. The Fire 7 isn’t going to blow you away. As Senior Shopping Reporter Hayley Henschel puts it, it’s a “very average tablet.” Still, it’s hard to pass up at just $49.99.
