Good news for Motorola smartphone owners. The company has published a list of phones that will eventually receive the Android 15 update. This news will bring joy to some users, but unfortunately it will bring disappointment to others.
As first pointed out by YTechB, the next Motorola smartphone will come with Android 15.

This news comes from a recently updated support page where you can find information about Motorola phones.
Interestingly, some of Motorola’s 2023 phones will not receive the update, including the Moto G Power (2023) and Moto G Stylus (2023). These phones were originally launched with Android 13 and could be upgraded to Android 14. Other phones such as the original Motorola Razr, Moto Edge 30 Ultra, and Moto Edge 40 will also no longer receive the Android 15 update.
Motorola may eventually add some or all of these phones to the Android 15 list, but it’s safe to assume they won’t receive an update.
Android 15 improves privacy, security, and user experience, especially for large-screen devices. This includes more control over app permissions, a redesigned lock screen, and new developer tools. Pixel devices will receive the update first, and other Android smartphones will receive the update gradually over the next few months.
The Android 15 update will (probably) be officially released on October 15th for supported Google Pixel devices. It will gradually roll out to other phones over the coming weeks and months.
