Ahead of Halloween on Thursday, seasonal audio emojis are now available for Pixel users in the Google Phone app.
Pumpkin emojis include a spooky laugh (from the aforementioned pumpkin), a lightning bolt (very, very scary), the black cat is also meowing. This will be heard and displayed on the call/screen.
The clapping hands, face with tears of joy, crying face, pile of poop, and drums will remain unchanged, but Google is previewing seasonal audio emojis. ”
Version 150 of Phone by Google is widely deployed in the stable channel. Audio emojis were introduced on the Pixel 8a in May and have since become available on all Google smartphones. This adds the Google Messages “Halloween” screen effect and classic Google Nest Doorbell sounds.
