HeartFocus, Butterfly Network Partner for AI-Powered Education App for Heart Scans

HeartFocus, the AI-enabled echocardiography software from medical technology company DESKi, announces the release of the HeartFocus educational app in partnership with digital ultrasound company butterfly network.

The HeartFocus app aims to rapidly improve healthcare professionals’ ability to master 10 key cardiac views with confidence and clinical precision through customized, self-paced, AI-powered learning. Masu.

According to the company, medical professionals, medical schools, clinics, and health systems can access the HeartFocus Education app using the Butterfly iQ3 and iQ+ probes running on iOS iPads.

“AI-powered heart scanning is the stethoscope of tomorrow, and the HeartFocus Education app helps put the tool in the hands of all medical professionals,” DESKi CEO Bertrand Moal said in a statement. .

“We designed an educational platform that makes lifesaving echo easy to learn, and we’re proud to partner with the Butterfly Network to bring it to as many healthcare professionals and educators as possible.”

Darius Shahida, Butterfly Network’s chief strategy officer, said HeartFocus is set to have a major impact on cardiac care and that Butterfly Network will partner with DESKi on what he calls a pioneering educational platform. “I’m excited,” he said.

“By combining our cutting-edge ultrasound technology with HeartFocus’ AI-powered training, we are breaking down barriers to cardiac care and enabling more practitioners to learn how to provide critical diagnostics on the spot. ” Shahida said in a statement.
