Huawei ranks 2nd in the Chinese Smartphones report for Q3 2024 thanks to the Pura 70 and Mate 60 series. Counterpoint notes that the company has a strong foothold in the market. With constant determination, the company achieved 30% year-on-year growth.
The report further states that the Pura 70 and Mate 60 series ended up contributing the most to Huawei’s sales this time around. Launched last year, the Mate 60 Pro remains a highly demanded product among consumers due to its amazing features.
On the contrary, the Pura 70 series is a major attraction in the market. With its trendy design, camera capabilities, AI capabilities, Kirin 9010 5G chip, and satellite capabilities, shipments increased to 6.5 million units in just 6 months.
The popularity of both lineups reflects Huawei’s strong presence in China’s premium smartphone segment. The company holds 16.4% of the market share and ranks second in terms of annual growth with an increase of 29.7%.
