Harris takes to the streets and crosses Philadelphia to seek votes in battleground state | N18G
On October 27, U.S. Vice President and Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris campaigned in Pennsylvania, visiting a black barbershop and a Puerto Rican restaurant in Philadelphia. Speaking at the Christian Mercy Church, she asked serious questions about the country’s future without mentioning her opponents by name. Harris expressed confidence in the progress of her campaign, saying at a press conference that “intraparty voting is my instinct” and that “the momentum is with us.” After stopping in Philadelphia, Harris plans to visit all battleground states in the days leading up to Election Day. Her upcoming gigs include a rally in Madison, Wisconsin featuring folk-rock band Mumford & Sons and an event in Las Vegas with Mexican pop band Mana. Opinion polls show close races in key states, and more than 38 million votes have already been cast ahead of the election.
