The Camdom app works by utilizing Bluetooth technology to block unauthorized camera, video, and microphone access on a user’s device. Camdom also detects and alerts users to bypass attempts, providing an additional layer of security.

This innovation is part of a growing trend to combat revenge porn and protect sensitive data in an increasingly digital world. The Camdom app, which aims to tackle revenge porn, has already gained traction in more than 30 countries and will soon be expanded to iOS. Billy Boy’s Camdom is already rolling out on Android.
Camdom app usage status
Camdom app users can launch the app before engaging in intimate activities by holding their smartphone nearby and swiping a virtual button. This triggers a protective block of camera and microphone functions to prevent unauthorized recording and ensure safety and security. If someone tries to circumvent this block, Camdom’s advanced technology detects the violation and instantly triggers an alarm. This warning informs all users of the potential threat of non-consensual recording. Apps can block multiple devices at once.
