Chinese smartphone company Oppo, one of the world’s five largest smartphone makers, is integrating more robots and software into its factories around the world to speed up production. CNBC’s senior China correspondent Evelyn Chen visited one of the factories and gave us a tour. ➡️The manufacturing plant can produce approximately 40 million mobile phones per year. ➡️ Approximately 8% of human workers have been replaced by machines on entry-level smartphone production lines.
