Samsung is said to be currently developing two different types of foldable smartphones. One is an affordable clamshell foldable that could be the company’s cheapest in its category, and the other could be the Korean tech giant’s most expensive smartphone. It is a tall tri-fold type. .
At the moment, there is not much information about the features and specifications of Samsung’s next tri-fold smartphone. However, like the company’s other foldable devices, it will likely be a flagship device offering high-end specs and will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. It is also expected to be one of the first foldable devices from Samsung to run OneUI 7, which is based on Android 15 OS.
Considering the price of the Galaxy Z Fold 6, the next Samsung tri-fold model is likely to cost more than $2,000 or Rs 200,000 in India.
