Apple is reportedly working on an entry-level iPad 11

Apple may have just released the excellent iPad Mini 7, but if you’re not interested in a smaller form and don’t want to pay big bucks for the powerful M4 iPad Pro, you might be wondering when the new entry-level iPad will be available. You may be wondering. is coming.

In his latest column, Bloomberg’s Mark Garman shares some blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moments with the 11th generation entry-level iPad. In an article about the MacBook Air, which is primarily powered by the M4, Garman said Apple is planning a spring refresh of many of its products.

That list includes the much-rumored iPhone SE 4, a refreshed iPad Air model, the iPad keyboard and interesting upgrades to the iPad 11.

Simply put, the new iPad Air models are interesting because Apple just released the M4-powered iPad Air models this spring along with the new iPad Pro. Garman did not provide details about what these new models will get as upgrades.

Apple has been adding its most powerful in-house chips to all of its latest devices to ensure that all new products take advantage of Apple Intelligence, which requires powerful chips.

The current iPad uses the outdated A14 Bionic chipset, while the just-launched iPhone 16 lineup has an A18 processor. Perhaps Apple wants the entry-level iPad to have access to Apple Intelligence, so we expect next year’s version to include the A18.

When the 10th generation iPad was released in 2022, the home button was removed and the bezels were thinner. However, we don’t expect the 11th generation model to receive a more dramatic redesign. Instead, all upgrades are done internally.

There are rumors that Apple is developing a new, low-cost Magic Keyboard specifically for the iPad Air and standard iPad models. Most likely, this accessory will be launched with the iPad 11.

There is information that iPhone SE 4 will be released in early 2025. The previous SE model was launched in March, so Apple is expected to continue that schedule next year. I wouldn’t be surprised if the iPad 11 launches at the same time, but it may have its day to shine, especially if Apple promotes new accessories. Still, March is certain.
