Samsung is certainly the market leader when it comes to foldable smartphones, but Huawei was the first to introduce a tri-fold smartphone. According to a report by ZDNet Korea, Samsung plans to launch its own tri-fold model in 2025 that will be sold worldwide, unlike the China-only Mate XS Ultimate Edition.

It is also expected to be one of the first foldable devices from Samsung to run OneUI 7, which is based on Android 15 OS.
Considering the price of the Galaxy Z Fold 6, the next Samsung tri-fold model is likely to cost more than $2,000 or Rs 200,000 in India.
