Chick-fil-A is introducing a new way for families to have fun and spend quality time with each other with the release of a new app, Chick-fil-A Play. The app is scheduled to be released on November 18th.
According to a recent press release, the Atlanta-based staple says the app will give families access to “the ultimate digital ‘playground’ featuring fun and unique content that can be shared both in-app and in-person.” It says that it will be like this.
“Hospitality and fun have always been at the core of the Chick-fil-A family experience, whether it’s in our restaurants, play areas or through kids meals,” said Dustin Britt, the company’s executive director of brand strategy. “We’re uniquely reimagining ‘play’ for our guests through entertainment that truly encourages time spent together.”
“Play” will include a lot of original content that can be enjoyed by people of all ages and genders.
The app-only series “Legends of Evergreen Hills” takes viewers on an adventure and plays with animated versions of Chick-fil-A cows.
Original scripted podcasts designated for kids are also in the works for them to enjoy “on their way to school, at practice, and anywhere in between.”
The app includes family-friendly games, e-books, and interactive stories, as well as video-based recipes and crafts for kids.
