As far as we know, Samsung’s latest Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition won’t be coming to Western markets. Unfortunately, this means you probably won’t be able to get your hands on this device.
We haven’t seen any actual photos yet, unless you count Samsung’s revised renderings. The good news is that you can check out the real Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition from almost every angle thanks to a series of GIFs and live photos captured and shared by . ZDNet Korea. Check it out below.
As Samsung said, the new Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is slightly larger and thinner than the regular Galaxy Z Fold 6. The difference between these form factors can be clearly seen in the GIF above and the photo below.
The special edition foldable phone measures 157.9 x 142.6 x 4.9 mm when unfolded. It only comes in one color, which Samsung calls Black Shadow. Gorilla Glass Victus 2 has a striped pattern embedded in its back panel.
Samsung’s new foldable phone special edition will go on sale in South Korea on October 28 through its own e-shop, several retail partners, and three domestic mobile phone carriers. This phone costs $300 more than the standard Galaxy Z Fold 6 with the same amount of storage, but with 16GB of RAM. However, it is not compatible with the S Pen.
