While Honor’s latest smartphone is unlikely to be talked about as often, it’s likely to sell more units than the company’s latest flagship.
X7c is a new mid-range smartphone that has just been introduced in Azerbaijan. So, technically, the X7c will be available in Europe and Asia at the same time. When it comes to pricing, Honor’s midranger can be purchased for just $210 right now. The more expensive version comes with 8/256 GB and retails for $240, while the cheaper model comes with 6/128 GB.
The device comes in three different colors: Midnight Black, Forest Green, and Moonlight White. It’s currently only available in Azerbaijan, but it’s safe to assume that Honor will bring it to other countries sooner or later.
Moving on to the actual specs, the Honor X7c looks a lot like a traditional mid-range phone, at least on paper. For starters, the phone features a 6.77-inch TFT LCD display with HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of up to 850 nits.
Under the hood, the new Honor X7c is powered by a mid-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 processor. This is a chipset that Qualcomm introduced in March 2023, so it’s not old enough to be considered a drawback.
As mentioned earlier, this phone comes in two versions: 6/128GB and 8/256GB. It’s still unclear if the X7c has a microSD card slot, but we’d be surprised if it doesn’t.
If you like taking photos with your phone, you’ll be happy to know that Honor’s midranger has a fairly large 108-megapixel main camera, which is unfortunately complemented by a 2-megapixel depth sensor. You’ll be glad to know. On the front, there is a secondary 8-megapixel selfie snapper.
Currently, the X7c has a 5,200 or 6,000 mAh battery depending on the region. The model sold in Azerbaijan comes with the former and also supports 35W charging speed.
Unfortunately, it still runs Android 14-based MagicOS 8.0, so buyers will have to wait for the Android 15 update, which likely won’t arrive until next year.
