Apple likes to show off the latest and greatest in its iPhone product line, but some of us don’t need all the bells and whistles. If you’re looking for a simpler, cheaper iPhone, you’re in luck because new details have emerged about the next iPhone SE, which is rumored to launch early next year.
First look at Apple’s next iPhone SE
Although this isn’t an official first look shared by Apple, a recent leak featured on a Japanese blog has released an early visual of the 4th generation iPhone SE model. The leaked 3D printed “blanks,” or mockups, don’t allow us to see the internal specifications, but they do show the external features of the device.
Most notably, the latest iPhone SE appears to be different from previous iPhone SEs by doing away with the home button and thus the use of TouchID. Following the iPhone 14, the next iPhone SE may also feature an extended screen and leverage FaceID to unlock the device.
Based on the leaked mockup of the next iPhone SE, we can make the following assumptions.

Why go to the trouble of using iPhone SE?
On the other hand, purchasing a modern device with the latest features can be a worthwhile investment. You get the most cutting-edge technology and the best support from manufacturers. On the other hand, the prohibitively high price may outweigh the benefits for certain users. Also, buying cheap doesn’t necessarily mean buying an outdated device. This is the case with iPhone SE.
Unfortunately, Apple doesn’t release SE models at the same pace as its flagship products, but if you hang in there and buy the latest iPhone SE, you’ll have Apple support if you need repairs. . Additionally, while we can’t speculate beyond the surface-level features revealed in the leaked mockup, it’s possible that Apple would like to include the soon-to-be-released Apple Intelligence in its new phones, budget or not. You have to imagine that you would think. .
In fact, the best budget smartphones allow you to get reliable, modern devices that may not have the highest quality cameras or the biggest screens. And some people prefer it that way, like those who don’t need to buy pants with big pockets to fit their giant iPhone screens.
