By providing a comprehensive view of one’s health history, including vaccination and prescription records, past visits, and even certain test results, users have their important medical information at their fingertips so they can easily Communicate more effectively with your providers.
Advanced drug tracking extends to more users
Drug tracking introduced in the US last year3 This allows users to easily keep medication records and access relevant tips and information, including general instructions, potential side effects, and warnings about drug interactions and food-related reactions. This feature is one of the most frequently used features among Samsung Health app users in the US, with nearly two-thirds coming back to manage their medications at least three times a week. With the latest update, the drug tracking feature expands functionality and availability for more users to easily manage their medications. Visual search allows users to easily add medications to their personal medication list by simply scanning the pill bottle with their phone’s camera. You can also check your medication adherence level through an intuitive dashboard and easily monitor your medication status, including medication schedules and missed dose details.

Samsung Health food tracker now includes barcode scanning, making it even easier to record food details such as name, calories, and nutritional content. In partnership with fatsecret, one of the world’s largest providers of verified food and nutrition data, users can simply scan the food barcode and automatically get the nutrition information they need in the app. The feature will initially be available in the United States and some European countries, including France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, and Poland, with plans to expand to other markets in the future.
