If you use multiple accounts on your phone, Google settings will automatically display the name of the selected account. You can also switch accounts within settings.
As far as we can see, there is no clear benefit from this change. It’s probably just implemented to help distinguish between the various accounts used on the phone.
I tried enabling this feature on Android 14, but it didn’t work. At this time, it is unclear whether the “Google” settings will be changed on older Android versions or whether this update will be limited to devices running Android 15 only.
