The problem was that he had his team issued with tablets in the car. And my tablet was stolen. But luckily, they tracked the tablet and the Rams’ playbook is safe for now, according to a report from CBS’ Melanie Collins.
Apparently the thief robbed five homes on McDermott Street. They haven’t gotten him yet, but the playbook should be safe for now.
The Rams are having a tough 2024 so far. Injuries decimated the offensive line for the first few weeks of the season. They managed to get a win against the Raiders on Sunday, improving their overall record to 2-4.
McDermott was placed on wounded reserve on August 28. He signed with the Rams on August 6, 2024.
He had a second stint with the New England Patriots in 2022-2023. McDermott also spent time with the Jets (2019-2022) and Buffalo Bills (2017-2019). He was selected by the Patriots in the 6th round, 211th overall, in the 2017 NFL Draft.
In college, McDermott shined for the UCLA Bruins, earning second-team All-Pac-12 honors twice (2015 and 2016). In 2014, he actually played in the final seven games of the season as a tight end for the Bruins. In 2015, he started 12 games at the tackle position and had success.
During high school, McDermott also played basketball at Ainsworth School (Nashville, Tennessee). During his three seasons on the hardwood, he served as team captain and led the team to the state championship in 2009. Later in his career, in 2011, he led his team to a No. 1 state ranking. , he averaged 15.2 points and 8.5 rebounds per game. He also earned Division II-AA and All-Midstate first-team honors.
On the high school football field, McDermott earned All-Conference honors in 2010 when he led his team to the state championship. By the end of his career, he helped the team achieve an overall record of 39 wins and 8 losses.
