MacRumors reports that some iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro users are experiencing battery life issues, citing recent posts on Reddit, Apple’s support page, and the MacRumors forum.
Many say the issue occurs when the phone is in standby mode, “suggesting that background activity may be causing the issue for some users,” MacRumors says. states. It can be difficult to quantify exactly how much the average iPhone 16 uses at rest. When your device is on standby, different applications drain battery life at different rates.
