After months of being limited to only Google Pixel and Samsung Galaxy devices, Circle to Search is expanding, and Google has now confirmed a list of devices that are limited to Google Pixel and Samsung Galaxy devices. ready to support functionality.
Following its expansion to Pixel and Galaxy devices, Google has started rolling out Circle to Search in recent weeks to partners including Xiaomi, Honor, and, as we first reported today, Motorola.
The total number of devices supporting this platform currently stands at just under 100, primarily consisting of Samsung Galaxy smartphones. This number is obtained from the Google Play Console. This is where we keep an up-to-date list of Android devices, and Google shows you which devices have the necessary system support for Circle to Search. However, just because a required system feature is available does not mean that the feature is available on the device.
Here’s a list of 96 Android devices that support Circle to Search:

However, the list provided by Google is not completely accurate.
First, there are some devices where you literally can’t get “Circle to Search”. Samsung’s Galaxy W22, W23, and W23 Flip are included in the list (we removed them from the list above), even though they are China-only versions of Samsung’s foldable devices. Since it is only sold in China, even if it were technically possible to support it at the system level, it would not be able to support Circle to Search due to the lack of Google services.
There are also some devices that are completely missing from Google’s list. This includes the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra. Android permissions (I looked at it first, but didn’t check the location of this list) Reports now have this functionality. The Honor 200 series and Honor Magic V3 are also missing Circle to Search, even though it was recently confirmed to be available. The Xiaomi 14T Pro is the only Xiaomi device listed, even though the Mix Flip and 14T are also confirmed to support this feature.
There are also some strange omissions on Samsung’s part. For example, the Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A52 are both listed as supported, but the Galaxy A53 is missing. In addition to this, many of the Galaxy devices listed don’t actually get Circle to Search yet.
An update to one of these devices could enable this feature, but Google’s listing doesn’t indicate when that will happen.
Google’s list will help you understand which devices will support Circle to Search in the future, but it is not a comprehensive list at this time.
