Tide is making Tap to Pay on iPhone available to all new and existing Tide merchants who own an iPhone. Members can accept contactless payments from customers using just their iPhone, eliminating the need for a terminal.
New members joining Tide will soon have Tap to Pay on iPhone automatically enabled in the Tide app. This means you can start accepting payments on your iPhone as soon as you sign up for a Tide Business checking account.
Tap to Pay on iPhone allows merchants of all sizes to accept contactless credit cards, debit cards, and Apple Pay using only their iPhone and the Tide iOS app, without the need for additional hardware or payment terminals.
