When Apple releases the iPhone 17 Pro in the fall of 2025, it seems possible that brighter colors will also be available. The current iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are mostly subdued and understated, unlike the more vibrant colors of the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus.
Current color options are Black Titanium, White Titanium, Natural Titanium, and Desert Titanium. With the exception of Desert Titanium’s pale gold finish, all the colors are subdued and not flashy. Last year was even quieter, with Desert’s predecessor being Blue Titanium.
However, according to prolific leaker Majin Bu, teal, green, and dark green options could arrive next year. How likely is this?
One thing is for sure, this range doesn’t include both green and dark green, as the two are very close, and although Majin Buu doesn’t imply that, We understand that green is the iPhone 17’s hero color, and dark green is the corresponding Pro shade, similar to the iPhone 14’s purple and the iPhone 14 Pro’s dark purple choices.
The leaker believes that the most likely option is teal titanium, saying, “Given that the current iPhone 16 series already has a similar option, the most likely candidate would be teal titanium. There is a possibility.”
Well, teal is not the brightest color of the iPhone 16, i.e. ultramarine, but it is brighter than the other colors. And in the case of the iPhone 17 Pro, Teal certainly fits the understated vibe of the iPhone 16 Pro series, and may look like a slightly jazzier version of last year’s Blue Titanium, which was a pretty muted color.
Personally, I would be happy to have a dark green option. This goes to show that the iPhone Pro series has the potential to surprise us in terms of colors.
Apple has always prided itself on surprising people with its design, and each iPhone generation comes in slightly different colors, right down to colors like PRODUCT(RED). When the next iPhone is released, the Pro model could take the iPhone in a new direction.
