The Emporia SMART.6 lite smartphone is one of the latest devices in the easy-to-use mobile phone portfolio for the older generation like us, and it is not only the technology that is now being accepted by such but also the Not only is such a device needed in that situation, it’s great. It’s on hand to do certain things.
Emporia is a leader in this field with smartphones, offering a variety of easy-to-use devices. This eliminates the tedious hassles that users have to go through during setup, making it hassle-free and easy to use and set up to suit each individual’s requirements. Too many settings and submenus.
However, there is a new model called ME.6. I have to mention this for a true Android user experience and a return to the simple menus that Emporia is famous for, as well as for more experienced and elderly users. A simpler version of SMART.6
Now I’m lucky enough to be able to test some of the best phones on the market up to $20,000 and above. And even experienced power users who use multiple devices simultaneously or in shifts all year round often find such phones frustrating. All the menus and submenus are visible, allowing people to find what they need or need to look for, but with Emporia phones, this is not the case with this or any other model.
I would put the SMART6.Lite in the mid-range with the price and specs here. Overall it has all the features you’d expect from any other smartphone, but it’s simplified to a simple menu structure, and it comes with a cool leather cover case that reveals the screen.Opening the cover gives you four options. will be displayed. Of course, long press and change to choose a better one and see which Emporia Coach apps you need to install.
A settings icon is displayed on the home screen. Swipe left to see your contacts and emergency options, swipe right to see your favorite apps, and swipe right to see your complete list of favorites. These can be changed when adding your own apps, and in the bottom right you can use these as shortcuts by browsing to the All Apps folder.
Smart Cover can be changed to a feature/favorite or turned off, but we highly recommend using it even with the default settings. This follows the company’s ethos of keeping it simple, see the accessibility menu here for more information.
The triple lens camera has a 13MP main camera with depth of field and macro, you can take great photos using the Easy Camera app or you can use the Pro Camera app. The 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front is ready for daily fun snaps and WhatsApp video calls. This camera almost always gives better results in daytime outdoor settings, but you can see below a sample I shot with the best settings. Those who still like to take pictures are applicable to the older generation these days, such as family gatherings. For the average user, the camera is fine, but it won’t win any awards with the usual expectations you’d find on more expensive devices. My recent experience with older people, including my father, is that rather than forcing them to take pictures, it’s okay to just look at them online or see what’s been sent to them on WhatsApp etc. .

There’s a one-touch panic button on the back of the camera array, which you can swipe left to add to your home screen as shown above to add a number to your home screen to keep you safe at night or use it as a quick access key for your camera. Or a handy flashlight.
Overall for me this is a well made device that offers basic features etc for the older generation and keeps things simple but it doesn’t have any bells and whistles like other phones have but this is Not intended for the market, but works easily for daily tasks etc.
As a long-time user of Emporia products, with real-world testing of my app collection loaded with multitasking and more, these are the best devices for people who want more and will continue to do so in life. Certain tasks will require more of you. And so does my father. A while back, he switched from his beloved Nokia phone to the Emporia device I gave him. To be honest, he doesn’t have much patience for smartphones. But I understand that like his friends and neighbors, they just want to keep things simple and empora is the way forward. When migrating from a Danphone or feature phone for the first time.
