The iPhone 16 series is Apple’s newest and most powerful iPhone to date. However, its price in India starts from Rs 79,900, which puts it in the premium range and beyond the budget of many buyers. This is where Apple’s affordable iPhone SE series comes into play. The iPhone SE series offers an iOS experience on a budget. Currently, the 2022 iPhone SE 3 is the most affordable iPhone. However, Apple is expected to launch the next generation iPhone SE soon, possibly in early 2025.

Apple hasn’t revealed anything about the new iPhone SE 4 yet, but rumors are already circulating on the internet, giving us a hint of what to expect. Let’s take a quick look at what the iPhone 16 has to offer and how Apple will tweak the latest features to make the iPhone SE 4 more affordable.

iPhone 16 and iPhone SE 4: Display

iPhone 16 features a 6.1-inch OLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate and 2000 nits maximum brightness, providing a crisp and crisp viewing experience. The display is complemented by Face ID and Apple’s Dynamic Island to enhance navigation. Made with an aluminum frame, iPhone 16 is available in a variety of colors including ultramarine, teal, pink, white, and black.

Meanwhile, the affordable iPhone SE 4 is expected to launch with a 6.1-inch OLED display, which is a significant upgrade from the previous SE model’s LCD screen. The switch to OLED improves image quality, offering better contrast and darker blacks while maintaining a 60Hz refresh rate. The design is expected to be more modern, with thinner bezels and Face ID instead of the traditional Touch ID fingerprint sensor.

iPhone 16 is powered by the A18 chip, which is based on 2nd generation 3nm technology, delivering up to 30% faster processing and 17% more memory bandwidth than previous models. Equipped with 8GB of RAM, it can handle demanding applications like gaming and video editing with ease.

Similar to the iPhone 16, the SE 4 is rumored to be powered by the A18 chip, paired with 8GB of RAM to ensure powerful performance for everyday tasks. The new chipset enables smooth use of multitasking, gaming, and resource-intensive apps.

As for the camera, the iPhone 16 features a 48-megapixel main camera with 4K60 Dolby Vision video recording.
