Thanks to today’s technology, printing and texting may not be in vogue, but you may still want to print text messages from your Android smartphone and may not know how to do it.
Maybe you received an emotional message that you want to remember. Perhaps you already have the confirmation letter or image you need in hard copy. Or maybe you just like writing prose through SMS messages.
Whatever the reason, you may find that printing a text is not as easy as forwarding it to a social media platform or forwarding it to someone else, for example. So here is a guide on how to print text messages from your Android smartphone.
Tools and requirements

1. How to send a text to your phone’s printer app
This first option works if you have a smart printer connected to your phone that has an app like HP Smart or an equivalent app from another printer brand.

Once you have selected an app, go through the normal text document printing process to print your text messages.
2. How to convert text to email to print or forward
If you don’t have a printer app, you can convert the text to an email and print it. You can send this email to someone to print it, or you can send it to a printer that accepts email, such as at a public library or office. Much of this process is similar to the last step.

Your email app will appear and the body of the email will be the text you want to print. If you want someone else to print it, Please enter your name in the address field and send. If you want to send to a printer, you need to know the printer’s address. The printer address is typically displayed on the console or distributed to the intended users of the device. Please enter this in the address field and send.
3. How to take a screenshot of text
The previous two options let you print the text of a text message, but it doesn’t appear like a text message inside a bubble in the Messages app, and only one message is printed, not the conversation. However, there is an option that allows you to share the entire text exchange. screenshot it.

Call up the text conversation you want to take a screenshot of. Note that unless your device allows you to record the screen (because you can scroll the text while recording), you can only screenshot as much text as will fit on the page. Once you’ve positioned it perfectly, take a screenshot.

Open Google Photos Find a screenshot of your text message (photos are sorted by newest, so they should be in the top right corner). Open the image and select the hamburger menu (three vertical dots on the top right).
From here, you’ll be presented with a very complex menu, which can be a bit confusing since the black-on-white text will likely look the same as the text message you’re printing. All you have to do is Select “Order Photos”just below the screenshot.

If you don’t want to print via Google Photos, you can also share the images you take with the print app or email, like the first two options.
troubleshooting
How can I print an entire text conversation on Android?
Unfortunately, the Messages app doesn’t provide a way to select an entire message conversation. Your best bet is to take multiple screenshots using the third option above.
What if I can’t find the right sharing app?
The first two options are[共有]It all depends on whether you can find your email or smart printer app in the menu.
To be found here, the app must not only be installed on your phone, but also configured and working as intended. Some apps won’t accept pure text file sharing because the text messages will be exported.

What if I want to print from WhatsApp?

However, option 3 is still valid and allows you to take a screenshot of your WhatsApp conversation and print it with Google Photos or another method.
