Amazon’s Prime Day sale ran for two days earlier this week, but it’s all gone now. However, this doesn’t mean there aren’t good deals. In fact, we found some new offers that weren’t available on Prime Day.
The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is still too new to be discounted directly, but both 128GB and 256GB versions are available along with a free $100 Amazon gift card. You can use it to buy accessories like a case, a new smartwatch, or something completely unrelated.
The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra was reduced to less than $1,000 for a 256GB unit during Prime Day. Current offer is not that Good, but still good enough to mention. Notably, the 512GB version is over $400 off.
There was no discount on the S24+, but there was a small discount on the smaller Galaxy S24.
You can use your $100 Galaxy S24 FE gift card to buy a new watch. With the card applied, the Samsung Galaxy Watch FE drops to $180, or just $80. Please note that this is the Bluetooth version. Samsung recently added an LTE version as well (though both are 40mm only).
If you want a bigger, more capable watch, the Samsung Galaxy Watch7 has a faster and more efficient 3nm Exynos W1000 chipset, a 44mm model with a larger display (1.5-inch vs. 1.2-inch), and longer battery life. Equipped with: Both watches have an electrocardiogram, but only the Watch7 has a blood pressure monitor.
Adventure watches include the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra. It can dive deeper (certified to 100m) and has a larger battery. The Ultra is available in only one configuration: 47mm with LTE.
Samsung just announced the A16 5G, but the older Samsung Galaxy A15 5G is still around, and it’s also cheaper. We don’t know the price of the A16 yet, but judging by the EU price tag it will be $250. The A15 5G receives four OS updates and five years of security patches, so this sub-$200 device will last you a long time. The Dimensity 6100+ is inferior to the new chipset inside the A16, but it’s not a speed demon either.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) has proven to be a successful design and this is its second re-release. And it’s currently 40% off. Both the 64GB and 128GB versions only have 4GB of RAM, so you might be better off spending the extra $50 on a microSD card rather than adding 64GB of internal storage.
Oura Ring 4 was announced earlier this month with a titanium exterior and epoxy interior. Since the 3rd generation, the sensor suite has been significantly slimmed down (from 1.3 mm to 0.3 mm) and much more accurate (the blood oxygen sensor has improved by 120%). Please note that a subscription of $6 per month or $70 per year is required.
Alternatively, you can buy a Samsung Galaxy Ring. This has a slightly higher upfront cost, but does not require a subscription. I found it comfortable and had better battery life than my Galaxy Watch. However, you won’t get any notifications or other smart features from your Watch. The good news is that the Galaxy Watch and Ring are designed to coexist. For example, you can wear a watch during the day and a ring at night.
Here are some more wearables – Sony recently announced new TWS buds in its LinkBuds series. LinkBuds Open’s open design makes it comfortable to wear all day and doesn’t block out the sounds around you. LinkBuds Fit is a more traditional design with a focus on comfort, audio quality, and noise cancellation. There’s also a Bluetooth speaker so you can seamlessly resume playback when you get home and put your earbuds away.
