Motorola’s track record with Android updates is somewhat spotty, and the company has yet to officially announce any details regarding the Android 15 update. However, an initial list has been revealed.
Although Android 15 hasn’t rolled out to Pixel phones yet, the update is technically ready for Android devices. Motorola has not yet announced an update schedule for its rollout, but the company appears to be sorting out which devices will be updated.
everyone is here YTechB Looking through Motorola’s support page, the company has quietly added a note confirming that an Android 15 update is on the way for some devices. This includes the entire Razr lineup from 2023 onwards, ThinkPhones, and many Edge series devices. Also, quite a few Moto G devices are going to be updated.
This list probably isn’t exhaustive, but it’s a good start and a sign that Motorola is indeed working on updates. We don’t have anything close to an answer as to how this will play out on a timeline. Motorola took over a year to ship Android 14 to its flagship Razr+ (2023). for quite a long time before actually taking action on the rollout.
