update: The 1 meter model is currently $29 The 2 meter version is currently $39 – This is a savings of 26% and 20% respectively and is the lowest price we have tracked to date.

After a slight price drop for Apple’s latest 25W MagSafe charger – the only model on the market that can wirelessly charge the iPhone 16 at full power – Amazon Prime Big Deal Days event brings the best price yet I am. You can lower the score of the 1 meter model. $32.78 $31 (free shipping) For Prime members or orders over $35. Normally priced at $39, this is 16% off the current price for a new charger and the lowest price we’ve looked at.

If you just bought a new iPhone 16, there’s only one way to charge it at full power using a MagSafe charger, and that’s it. Everything else tops out at 15W, but as detailed previously, Apple has introduced a new 25W pack to help drive higher prices alongside its latest phones.

The new Apple charger is otherwise very similar to its predecessor, offering a length of braided cable that terminates in a USB-C jack on one side and a magnetic circular puck on the other. Everything you need to know about it awaits here in our feature article. Note that Apple says a 30W or 35W power adapter is required to achieve full 25W wireless power transfer to the iPhone 16.

Apple’s new 25W MagSafe charger takes your power game to the next level, but do you really need it?

For even more speed, use a USB-C charger and check out our favorite options here (many of which are on sale for Prime Day in the fall).

New 25W Apple MagSafe Charger Features:

  • MagSafe chargers make wireless charging easy. Perfectly aligned magnets attach to iPhone 12 and later. The MagSafe charger provides up to 25W of fast wireless charging when paired with a 30W or 35W power adapter.
  • MagSafe chargers are Qi2 and Qi charging compatible, so like any Qi2 or Qi certified charger, they can be used to wirelessly charge iPhone 8 and newer, as well as AirPods models with wireless charging cases.
  • Magnetic adjustment experience applies only to iPhone 12, iPhone 13, iPhone 14, iPhone 15, and iPhone 16.
  • Fast wireless charging up to 25W – Charges up to 50 percent battery in approximately 30 minutes for iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro when combined with a 30W USB‑C power adapter (sold separately). When combined with a 20W USB‑C power adapter (sold separately), provides up to 15W fast wireless charging for iPhone 12 and later with MagSafe. When combined with a 20W USB‑C power adapter (sold separately), provides up to 7.5W wireless charging for Qi-enabled iPhone 8 and later.
