- Rumor has it that the next Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition will have “better crease control than ever before.”
Samsung has already launched the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6, but the company plans to launch another foldable model by the end of the year, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition. There have been quite a few leaks about this device since we first learned of its existence, but new information is still being provided. A new leak has raised expectations for the phone’s display wrinkles.
With each iteration, Samsung has found ways to further minimize the wrinkles that are always present in foldable displays. This time, however, it may take less than a generation to see improvements.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 Special Edition
This time, the crease control was better than ever.
Today, famous tipster Ice Universe shared details about the display of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition. According to the leaker, the company has done a solid job with the special edition’s crease management, claiming it’s “better than ever before.” This suggests that the crease will be even less noticeable than on the regular Galaxy Z Fold 6.
According to previous leaks, this special edition will feature a wider cover display than the Galaxy Z Fold 6, S Pen support, a thinner body, and a 200MP main camera. Add a subtle crease to the mix and it really sounds like a special edition version.
Unfortunately, the special edition is believed to only be available in South Korea and China. Pre-orders could begin later this month, according to leaked promotional materials.
