There are still three months left until Samsung launches the Galaxy S25 series, but the first details about the Galaxy S25 FE have been revealed. The Korean company seems to be staying true to its promise to launch a new Fan Edition phone every year after missing out on the Galaxy S22 FE in 2022.

Galaxy S25 FE could be slimmer

According to a report from ZaerekGalaxy S25 FE is expected to be released in 2025. The phone is said to feature a slimmer design compared to the Galaxy S24 FE, which is 8mm thin. It’s unclear how thin the Galaxy S25 FE will be, but Samsung may try to match the thinness of the standard Galaxy S24 (7.6mm).

The report claims that to make the phone thinner, Samsung could use a thinner and wider battery. This is a technique often used by smartphone manufacturers to make their phones thinner. Using a wider range of batteries requires internal changes to the main circuit board layout.

The report also claims that Samsung will use a 6.7-inch screen, similar to the Galaxy S24 FE’s screen size. Samsung has increased the screen size on the Galaxy S24 FE compared to the 6.2-inch screen on the Galaxy S23 FE and backed it up with a larger (4,700mAh) battery.

Check out our Galaxy S24 FE camera review in the video below.

Author’s note: It’s not clear which chipset Samsung will use for the Galaxy S25 FE. The Galaxy S24 FE uses the Exynos 2400e, and there are rumors that Samsung won’t launch the Exynos 2500 for the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+, so Samsung might use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for the Galaxy or the Snapdragon 8 Elite for the Galaxy. may be forced to use it. Galaxy S25FE.

If the company can improve the yield of Exynos 2500 by late next year, it could use that chipset in the Galaxy S25 FE, and the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 and Snapdragon 8 Elite together in the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+. . .
