It originally sold for $1,099 on Amazon, but now has a regular price of $999, saving you at least $150. We’ve seen it drop to $799 several times this summer leading up to back-to-school sales, and it’s currently one of the lowest prices we’ve ever tracked for it in new condition. This is certainly not the new M3 MacBook Air, with the new M4 MacBook Pro expected to be announced later this month, but you won’t be able to get one of those for anywhere near the $749 we’re looking at here today . Needless to say, it’s not the latest or greatest, but it’s still a capable machine for general use, school work, web browsing, and basically all but the most RAM-intensive applications. I think there is. Powered by M2 Apple silicon, it supports Apple Intelligence and will receive many macOS updates in the future.
