- My family and I tried and ranked apple cider donuts from Wegmans, Whole Foods, and Trader Joe’s.
- Trader Joe’s apple cider donuts tasted like green apple candy and were our least favorite flavor.
- My kids liked the Wegmans donuts best, but my wife and I preferred the Whole Foods version.

Now I live in New York City, and it’s a long drive to the nearest apple orchard. I wanted something to satisfy my fall appetite, so I bought apple cider donuts at Trader Joe’s, Wegmans, and Whole Foods and sampled them with my wife and kids.
This is my ranking. From worst to first.
